If you don't have a server with RaavaVPN yet then please follow the server creation in this guide.
Head to SoftEther to download the SoftEther Client
- In the "Select Component" dropdown list, select "SoftEther VPN Client".
- Select "Windows" from the "Select Platform" dropdown list.
- When the list of download files appear, click on the top one to get the most recent version of the SoftEther client.
Once the client installer is downloaded, run it and install it to your computer, making sure to install the client not just the tools when prompted.
Run this config file to add RaavaVPN to the SoftEther client with your username
Double click on the connection that was set up in the SoftEther client, this will create a new Virtual Network Adapter used for connecting to RaavaVPN and then you will be connected straight away.
By default the RaavaVPN connection has been configured to only run when you connect to it, if you wish to run the connection at startup right click the connection in the SoftEther Client and click "Set as Startup Connection".
If you wish to make the client a little smaller and easier to manage you can run it in easy mode by going to Tools->"Switch Operation Mode" and enabling easy mode. This hides most of the client and just shows your connection and a connect/disconnect button.
